Penang Golf Resort - Penang

Penang Golf Resort is the one course in Penang offering 36 holes course. I don't play here often as the fees are moderate expensive; one weekdays its RM 80+ provided you play with a member signing you in and on weekends its more than RM100 This course is also known as the beginner course, why? its flat and wide open and no OB if you borrow fairways. hahahaha....you don't have to return what ever you have borrowed. East course is easier to many while west usually hold tournament play. East is buggy everywhere while west is strictly buggy on track. West has more trees with shades. I have only played 2 ~ 3 times and i have forgotten which course i played. The management didn't do a good job in this; their objective is making sure you have 18 holes total to play; so at times their will mix and match you a combination of east one nine with west another nine hole...what a bummer.

The pictures taken is a mixture of both course....so i played East back nine and West back nine - totally dislike that days game.

The course in general is good, tee box, greens and fairways are well up kept. Club house, shower rooms, driving range and pro shop is good also to provide all the standard necessity. Pro shop is operate by Pan West and they have nice clubs, apparel selections. shower rooms is dark and WC is right in the between shower rooms and changing lockers. Shit and urine foul smell back and forth the shower..... Food serving is alright and all i can say its an area they serve food, there is hardly any nice view. Driving range is away from the course and you can play on real grass instead of mats.

The course layout is average and coupe with the management you will most like to remember the most 4 holes out of the 36 holes. All i remember is in no specifically a flat course where you can just drive as hard as you can. Water hazard is plenty but fairway is huge as well.

This is my first short blog with almost nothing to blog about.......hahaha

so will i revisit this course? well it depends but the urge won't be there unless good offer and my usual group wants to play there.
